My latest tattoo.

Never Surrender is a Combichrist song [the logo is under ‘never’] which I first heard at their gig last year, they just kept repeating this phrase, and I was like, fuck yeah.

This tattoo is to help me through difficult times, it’s on my wrists so I can always see it and hopefully every time I go to harm myself I will see this and find the strength not to. The heart is to remind me to love myself.

This took a lot of courage ‘cause I can’t handle anything being on my wrists or them being exposed! I had a recurrent nightmare as a kid that if I left my wrists/underarms on display, this group of needles would come to life and stab me. Every time I tried to look at that side of my wrists to try and prepare myself for getting a tattoo there I’d feel sick. In the end I just did it ‘cause it was so important to me, the best way to get over a fear is to just do it. That’s how I’m not scared of rollercoasters anymore.

Also, it was very painful.

This is my first tattoo! I took it at Lowlife tattoo in Trondheim, Norway, Saturday 16th of April. It is my first tattoo, and I absolutely LOVE it! Makes me want to have another one right away.

The tattoo is there to remind me that I am good enough. Simple as that. If people tell me otherwise, the tattoo will prove them something else. I will not let people bring me down :)

The font is Celeste Normal, and I got the inspiration to the tattoo from One Tree Hill season 04 episode 13, Pictures of you! :)
